The International Chamber Music Festival

Founded by pianist Eric LESAGE, flutist Emmanuel PAHUD and clarinettist Paul MEYER, the Festival International de Musique de Chambre de Salon-de-Provence brings together the finest musicians and soloists in classical music, and for over 30 years has offered a unique experience.

It invites spectators and artists alike to “fill up on Music”, from classical to romantic, contemporary to unusual, in a shared experience with exceptional musicians in temporary ensembles of young talents and established musicians.

Accessible to all, the festival aims to make classical and contemporary music accessible through an inclusive pricing policy, including free admission for under-20s and reduced rates for young people, jobseekers and other disadvantaged audiences, thus promoting a broad public outreach. Every summer, the festival celebrates musical excellence with some thirty musicians, combining great international soloists and up-and-coming young talents.

Since 2023, the INDIGO Foundation has been supporting the cultural mediation program proposed by the festival team for audiences with limited access to culture. The program has several components, including creative and awareness-raising workshops with an artist, invitations to festival concerts and meetings with musicians. Working closely with various local associations and public entities, the festival association targets all types of beneficiaries, including families with children, the vulnerable and the disabled.
