Discovering Art, building connections, supporting children: another success for Solid’Art Lille 2026
Culture
Solidarity
Over three days, nearly 10,000 visitors passed through the doors of Lille City Hall to discover 120 artists, take part in workshops, and enjoy artistic experiences open to everyone. Supported by the INDIGO Foundation, this 12th edition of Solid’Art once again demonstrated that access to culture can be a powerful driver of solidarity, raising more than €250,000 in support of the Secours populaire du Nord’s “Children Without Holidays” campaign.
From 12 to 14 June 2026, the 12th edition of the art fair took place at Lille City Hall. Under the patronage of Lille-based artist Vincent Lelièvre, it brought together 120 artists showcasing their works across 2,500 m² of exhibition space. Workshops, live artistic performances, and opportunities to meet the artists shaped three days of activities open to all.
The INDIGO Foundation supported this initiative, which makes culture more accessible, particularly for families.
Beyond its cultural impact, Solid’Art also achieved a record level of solidarity. More than 1,600 artworks were sold, raising €250,000 for Secours populaire du Nord. Thanks to this collective effort, nearly 5,000 holiday days will be offered to children who would otherwise be unable to take vacation.
At the same time, INDIGO sought to promote the event in the public space through a partnership. A monumental 20-metre window graphic designed by Vincent Lelièvre, the festival’s patron, was commissioned and installed at Euralille. In addition, the elevator structure at the INDIGO Grand’Place car park was specially wrapped for the occasion. These installations helped give the event greater visibility and brought it closer to residents and visitors across the Lille metropolitan area.
By bringing together artistic creation and social commitment, Solid’Art is a reminder that access to culture is also a driver of inclusion and social connection. It is a conviction that the INDIGO Foundation is proud to support alongside Secours populaire and all the partners who contributed to the success of this outstanding 2026 edition.
